Recent clients and experiences

  • Economic perspectives for displaced communities

    Millions of Colombians had to flee within the country itself owing to armed conflict. Generating an income in the new host community is challenging, especially for women, young people and minority groups. In response, I supported the design of a project for employment and income through skills development, private sector cooperation, and integrated support services. The approach fosters long-term inclusion by linking competence development with market demand, coupled with psychosocial and community support.

  • A "Just Transition": Suppporting Industry Decarbonisation but Leaving No One Behind

    The reduction of greenhouse gases remains a key challenge of the global economic system. In Mexico, this initiative works with local partners to promotes the decarbonisation of key industrial sectors, while ensuring that related policies and actions are socially and environmentally equitable, especially with regard to vulnerable groups.

  • Trainer for Economic Development Practioners on Digital Development

    Over the course of a six-week training, participants explored topics such as closing the digital divide, promoting MSME digitalisation or the link between green and digital innovation.
